This November, the Southbank Centre is launching a brand new poetry and spoken word night. Scratch Mixer will be a regular event in which six emerging poets and spoken word artists are invited to share their work in progress. Sounds pretty great, right? Well, this is where YOU come in…

The Southbank Centre is looking for six IdeasTap members to perform in Southbank Centre's Festival Village at the first Scratch Mixer on Friday 8 November at 7.30pm. Participants will also get two free tickets to an event in Southbank Centre's January to April Literature and Spoken Word season, as well as two days of rehearsal space at Southbank Centre so that you can continue to develop your piece (to be arranged through the Southbank team). 

This brief closes on Wednesday 16 October 2013 at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 18 and over. We will not consider late applications under any circumstances, including technical difficulties, so allow yourself plenty time to get your application uploaded.
