The National Student Drama Festival is offering IdeasTap members the chance to become part of the volunteer technical team at next year’s festival in Scarborough.

As a member of the technical team, you have the opportunity to the develop a wide range of technical skills; from lighting and sound, to venue design and ground-up venue construction.

Under the guidance of our technical director, and our professional technical team of ten, you will get hands-on training throughout the week that is highly valued by potential employers in the industry. You also participate in technical workshops with state of the art equipment run by industry specialists and staff and associates from the major drama schools.

About NSDF14

The National Student Drama Festival 2014 will feature performances, workshops, discussions, masterclasses and entertainment in venues across Scarborough, including the Stephen Joseph Theatre, University of Hull Scarborough Campus and the Scarborough Spa. The technical team/management team will be required at the from 10 to 18 April 2014 inclusive.

This brief closes on Monday 14 February at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16 to 25. If you have any technical queries, please visit our Help Centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
