Are you just starting out in dance writing? Are you already involved in dance writing but seeking to gain more skills? Would you simply like the opportunity to discuss dance writing with your peers, while having your work published?

Cloud Dance Festival is offering IdeasTap members the chance to attend a half-day masterclass on dance writing. The session will be led by A Younger Theatre's Managing Editor Eleanor Turney. It will followed by an evening mixed-bill performance, which you will be reviewing. Your review will appear on Cloud Dance Festival's website, and they will also hold a post-festival writing workshop for you where you’ll receive feedback on your review. You’ll also get the chance to network and discuss the show with other participation IdeasTap members. 

The masterclass is suitable for all levels of experience, from new to established dance writers.

The workshops will be held on 15, 16 and 17 November at Bernie Grant Arts Centre in north London. Thirty IdeasTap members will attend the workshops – 10 per day. 

The writing masterclasses are being run by Cloud Dance Festival in partnership with English National Ballet and A Younger Theatre.
