• hello, ive emailed a couple of times, but a lot of images are uploading with half of the images blank. I've tried loads of different ways to get them to load properly and can't seem to get them up. my portfolio on ideas tap looks a bit ...well half arsed due to it. how can I fix it

• Hello, just wanted to check if this applies for photographers outside London too? How would the mentoring work for them? I would like to apply, but not sure if travel from as far as Glasgow would be covered?

  • Yes, this in an opportunity for anyone based in the UK. Mentoring sessions will be arranged between the brief winner and Metroprint once the brief has closed. Winners travel expenses will be covered - mentoring session can also take place over Skype.

• HI there I've applied for this already, received an email saying 'thanks for applying' etc - and now when I've checked this again it has the option for me to still apply... I also received another email reminding me to apply recently. I've emailed IdeasTap HQ and haven't heard anything yet - can you please confirm what's happening? Many thanks!

  • The "Apply now" button will still appear, even once you've applied. Similarly, when we send a deadline reminder, all brief followers (included those who have already applied) will receive it.
    So don't worry - you can check whether you've responded to a brief by a) looking for your name on the list of brief responses and b) checking your IdeasTap profile activity feed.

  1) is there a guideline as to how many photographs to upload as supporting material?
  
  2) do they all have to be from same project or can they showcase a range of projects?

  • 1) There isn't a guideline number, however, please bear in mind that the judges will be assessing a lot of applications, and so we recommend uploading a smaller number of your best photographs.
    
    2) Either is fine.
