Description
Calling all filmmakers!
We’re offering you the chance to get your work screened at Cine-East 2012, a huge scale day of 1000 film screenings in over 100 venues across the East End, as part of the East End Film Festival.
Founded in 2000, the East End Film Festival is one of the UK’s largest film festivals. An annual multi-platform festival held in London, the EEFF presents a rich and diverse programme of international premieres, industry masterclasses, free pop-up screenings and immersive live events.
This year Gorilla Film Magazine, a vibrant magazine run by IdeasTap members, dedicated to low budget filmmaking and short cinema, is curating an IdeasTap screening as part of the festival. The screening will take place at the Brickhouse, as part of Cine-East.
We are looking for filmmakers who share Gorilla’s passion for traditionally cinematic work, with a focus on fiction, documentary and animation, as opposed to music and art videos. Films must be under ten minutes long and only one film submission per applicant is permitted. Apart from that there are no restrictions on the types of films we will be screening, so don’t worry if you haven’t got lots of flashy equipment, or much of a budget. What we are looking for is strong ideas and good storytelling.
This brief closes at 5pm on Thursday 14 June and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16 to 30. If you have any technical queries, please visit our Help Centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
