Description
Calling all short-filmmakers in London! BBC London is offering IdeasTap members the chance to produce and author a short feature about the Olympics (no longer than two minutes) for potential broadcast on BBC1. The film should be a personal angle on a story, relevant to the 2012 Games or Cultural Olympiad.
Successful participants will receive professional support and their work will be reviewed by the BBC London team. The aim is to create an original TV report, told from your perspective, which is of interest to the wider BBC London audience. The finished product should be suitable for BBC London TV news and the BBC London website.
You will need to be an individual or small group (max three people). You will be offered mentoring from filmmakers while you complete the project.
Please Note: Applicants must be trained in film production. You will be expected to film and edit the report yourself. There is no guarantee that the content will be used by the BBC.
This brief closes on Friday 16 December at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 18 to 30 who are based in London. If you have any queries, please email info@ideastap.com.
