Are you a young photographer looking to receive professional advice? We’re about to make your day…

We’re working with our partner Magnum Photos to bring IdeasTap photographers an incredible industry opportunity.

We’ve got 10 heavily subsidised places to give away to members aged 16 to 25 on Magnum’s next two-day Professional Practice seminar. These seminars deliver guidance to photographers and offer tips on the practical business of photography. They’re also a great opportunity for you to network and form industry contacts.

It will be held at the University of Ulster’s Belfast campus on Sunday 9 and Monday 10 June. If you’re serious about taking your career to the next level, then trust us - you need to be there.

These seminars are always massively oversubscribed and photographers usually pay £150 plus VAT to attend. Not only will 10 IdeasTap members jump the queue, we’ll also help pay for their places. The 10 successful IdeasTap members will pay only £50 plus VAT. (If you are ineligible for this brief, you can apply for a full-price place on the seminar here.)

Confirmed speakers for the Belfast seminar include Fiona Rogers (Cultural and Education Manager at Magnum Photos), Anna Stevens (Head of Multimedia at Panos Pictures), Anne Bourgeois-Vignon (Senior Commissioning Editor at Nowness), Stuart Smith (Designer and Co-founder at GOST books), Mark Power (Magnum photographer), Zoe Whishaw (commercial photography consultant), and Sophie Wright (Cultural and Print Room Director at Magnum Photos).
