We’re giving you the chance to take a show to Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012, with two funding prizes of £10,000 for brand-new productions. The winners will also receive mentoring from experienced theatre practitioners.
As always, we’re looking for innovative, creative ideas – anything from mime to opera. We want to see ambitious projects with more than three people on stage and at least five people in your company. For inspiration, read about how the award helped 2011’s winners, RashDash Theatre – who this year won their second Fringe First award – and the critically acclaimed Bridge Theatre Company.
Here’s the boring bit. You MUST download and read the Terms & Conditions in full before you apply – we get loads of applications that are ineligible simply because people haven’t read the terms. For a better idea of what we're looking for, download our model application form.
We will not consider late applications under any circumstances, including technical difficulties, so allow yourself plenty of time to get your application uploaded.
UPDATE: If you would like some advice about taking a show to Edinburgh, on Wednesday 7 December we will be hosting an online Edinburgh Fringe advice forum with HighTide's Artistic Director Steven Atkinson between 1pm and 2pm on our forum page.
Please note: to apply, you must be aged 16-25 on the closing date and live in the UK.
If you are having technical difficulties please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To find out how to apply, click on the How to respond tab at the top of the page.
This brief closes on Friday 9 December 2011 at 5pm.
