Description

Do you have an interest in producing theatre, venue management or other aspects of arts administration? Then this is for you!

We’re offering 15 UK students the opportunity to join undergraduates from the University of Hull and the Stephen Joseph Youth Theatre on our Management Training Programme – the administrative lifeblood of the National Student Drama Festival.

NSDF management trainees – previously called the Front of House Team – have a structured introduction to producing, financial management, venue management, box office, administration, logistics and customer care.

The online application form [see 'How to respond'] will ask if you have a particular area of interest. If you don’t, that’s fine – the NSDF team will try to rotate you between departments to get a taste of each.

The National Student Drama Festival which takes place 23-29 March 2013. You must be available in Scarborough from 10am on Friday 22nd March 2013, for the duration of the Festival, which concludes late on Friday 29th March. We recommend travelling to Scarborough on Thursday 21st and leaving on Saturday 30th March.

This brief closes on Friday 25 January at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members based in the UK aged 16 and over. If you have any technical queries, please visit the help centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
