Did you say you were an actor? Then come this way, dear.

The IdeasTap Spa is offering our actors a specially-crafted, three-in-one career check-up. If you win, you will get:

A professional headshot taken in AH Image studio.

A 15-minute one-on-one industry careers chat with casting director Annelie Powell.

A profile review and website refresher workshop led by IdeasTap staff.

Plus there’ll be lots of lovely peer-to-peer networking opportunities and a slap-up selection of tea and cake to boot! The event will take place on Wednesday 6 June from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. If you win this brief, you will be expected to attend the full three-hour session.

About Annelie Powell 

Annelie has been working in casting for six years. She has previously assisted on theatre and television projects and has been working as a freelance casting director for over two years. Recent projects include The Girl with the Iron Claws (Soho and tour), Horrible Histories (Birmingham Stage Co.), The River Line and FIT ( BBC, Child Casting).   • I agree too - I am finding many creative opportunities are limited to certain younger age groups yet there are none for an older bracket. I feel that business has become much more flexible and career paths are frequently changing but this is not recognised. Age limits mean doors close for certain people rather than helping others learn new skills to keep up with the younger generations.

  • I think its a pity you are limiting the brief to a certain age. Being an older actor doesn't mean that you have been in the industry for a long time, and that you don't need advice.
