Got a great, design-based project, but struggling to find the cash to finish it? Look no further!

We're offering you the chance to win one of ten £500 Top Up Funds to help you realise your idea.

We’re giving 10 creative individuals, or groups, the opportunity to win £500 for their design project. The funding is designed to support a project that it already underway and cannot be used to fund college or university course work.

This opportunity is open to designers working in all disciplines including: graphics, illustration, product, furniture, fashion, costume, installation and theatre design.

The Top Up Fund is IdeasTap's only member-run fund, which means all the winners will be chosen by a panel of IdeasTap members and previous Ideas Fund winners.

Top Up Fund: Design offers a cash lifeline for innovative, creative projects. The fund can be used to support anything from a brand new idea from an old hand.

The judges would like to see projects from all over the UK, to celebrate the diversity of the regions. Winners will be chosen based on: 

• the creativity and innovation of their idea
• the difference the funding will make to their project
• their project management skills
• the quality of their IdeasTap portfolio – so make sure you’ve uploaded plenty of examples of your work to back up your application

This brief closes on Tuesday 6 May 2014 at 12 noon and is open to IdeasTap members aged 18 to 30 on the closing date. If you have any technical queries, visit the Help Centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
