Description

Are you a film blogger looking to expand your knowledge of film journalism?

We’re offering 20 IdeasTap members places at a Film Distributors’ Association UK cinema showcase on 3 and 4 June at a cinema in London’s West End.

The two days will involve attending preview screenings of unreleased films. You will then be able to write-up reviews for your own blog or website subject to distributor embargos. An embargo stipulates that your review or article must not be published before a certain date.

The films may have a 15 certificate (but no higher), so applicants should be 15 or over. All entrants must be prepared to sign and adhere to any embargos imposed on the day.

To apply, you must have set up a blog with at least two of your own film reviews or film features on it. They can be about old films, DVD titles or films in cinemas now – it’s about proving you’re already set up and ready to expand your blog.

This brief closes on Friday 31 May at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 15 and above. If you have any technical queries, please visit the Help Centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
