Description
Many a stellar filmmaking career started with a short – just ask Steven Spielberg, whose short film Amblin won him his first gig directing for Universal Studios.
Do you have a vision for a short film you’d love to make but no dosh with which to do so?
Then this is the brief for you.
We’re offering eight IdeasTap members £5,000 funding each and expert mentoring to turn their short film ideas into reality. Narrative, documentary, conceptual, a music video, animation – the format is down to you – what we’re looking for are engaging and, above all, original ideas.
Your finished film will be no longer than 20 minutes long. With it, you must be proposing to do something that has not been done before and something that you would not be able to do without the funding.
Remember to read those Ts and Cs carefully. And good luck!
This brief closes at 5pm on Thursday 28 March and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16 to 25. If you have any technical queries, contact the Help Centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
