Description

Can you dream up a viral that will capture a million hits?

We’ve got together with award-winning production house toast to offer IdeasTap members aged 16 to 30 the chance to get a 30-second script developed into the next viral sensation.

The winner will get to work alongside commercial and viral director Stuart Fryer and the toast team to bring their script idea to life.

For a shot at winning this amazing competition, submit the application form (including your script) and upload your CV and supporting visuals to your IdeasTap portfolio. We’re looking for a fresh idea that plays out in 30 seconds – that entertains, wows, amazes, amuses, shocks, and gets passed on because of its brilliance and creative uniqueness. The winner will be announced on 7 September 2012.

The rules

  • Entrants must be aged 16 to 30.
  • The script must fit into a 30-second time slot.
  • The viral must be suitable for all ages.
  • The viral must be able to be shot in London in one day.

More about Stuart Fryer – director

Stuart got his lucky break when he struck up a friendship with the management of the band Oasis, going on to make their first commercial and the music video for the track Some Might Say. He then joined the agency Cunning Stunts as a music video director, where he got together with two creatives and produced the infamous VW “Suicide Bomber” viral that gained him instant notoriety and 28 million hits. He has since gone on to make virals and commercials for leading brands such as GHD, Sony, Cadbury’s and Lynx.
