Description

Need a helping hand with InDesign and graphic design? Trying to put together an info/media pack to promote your project? IdeasTap to the rescue!

On Thursday 18 October, freelance graphic designer (and Creative Space member) Harry Akakpo will lead a workshop for 15 members, teaching the key tools and tips for using Adobe InDesign and working through the production of an info/media pack. Participants must bring their own computer equipment and InDesign software. They are also encouraged to bring photos and some piece of work or a company to focus the pack upon. They will leave with a finished product relevant to their own work, as well as an instructional template for future reference.

This session is designed to help intermediate InDesign users across all disciplines who want more graphic design expertise to achieve their goals. In particular: those who may know Photoshop or Illustrator but may not know how to pull it all together in InDesign.

Are you a beginner? Come along to Harry's "Introduction to Graphic Design Tools" seminar (open to all) the week before on Thursday 11 October, to decide if you want to apply for this. Visit the IdeasTap Spa for more details.

The InDesign Masterclass will take place at IdeasTap's Green Room in London Bridge on Thursday 18 October, 3.30 to 6pm. Please make sure you are free to attend before applying.

This brief closes at 5pm on Friday 12 October and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16 and over. We will not consider late applications under any circumstances, including technical difficulties, so allow yourself plenty time to get your application uploaded. If you have technical issues, please visit the help centre.
