Thanks to the ongoing success of our partnership with renowned photography agency Magnum Photos, we’re offering photographers in the IdeasTap community another career-changing opportunity.
We’ve got 10 heavily subsidised places to give away on Magnum’s next two-day Professional Practice seminar at Central St Martins, London, on 12 and 13 May. This opportunity is available to IdeasTap members between the ages of 16 and 25.

- Sophie Batterbury – Picture Editor, The Independent on Sunday
- Fiona Rogers – Cultural & Education Manager, Magnum Photos
- Stuart Smith – Smith Design
- Sophie Wright – Cultural Director, Magnum Photos

These seminars are always massively oversubscribed and photographers usually pay £250+VAT to attend. Not only will 10 IdeasTap members jump the queue, they’ll also pay just £50+VAT.
The seminar will take place at Central St Martins College of Arts and Design, Kings Cross Campus, Granary Building, 1 Granary Square, London, N1C 4AA.
To apply you’ll need to upload five photos to your IdeasTap portfolio and explain, in 100 words or less, how your career would benefit from this opportunity.
If you are ineligible for a bursary, you can apply for a full-price place on the seminar.
This brief closes on Thursday 26 April at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16 to 25 who based in the UK. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute. If you have technical issues, email info@ideastap.com.
