Description
From eggs to editors to paving slabs, everyone's getting laid this month. There must be something in the calendar.
So we want you to have fun with this month's theme; think plans, punches and pipes. Think laid back, laid to rest and laid out. Think laid bare, well laid and getting laid. Most of all, just think.
As always, this is a multi-disciplinary brief; that means you can respond with anything from music to animation to illustration to prose. Editor's Brief is also open to all our members, whatever your age. So now's the time to pick up a little extra cash for your creativity and put a spring in your step.
The person who submits the best piece of work will win £300 and become part of our IdeasTap alumni. Two runners up will also win £100 each.
The work can be in any discipline you like, but it must relate to the theme. Due to an increasing amount of volume, members can only apply once. Your single entry is limited to:
Audio and video – no longer than two minutes
Text – no longer than 1,000 words
Images/photos – no more than two
Find out how to apply by clicking on the “How to respond” tab at the top of this brief.

How to respond
Apply by clicking on “Follow this brief” (in the left-hand column), then hit “Apply now”.
Use the name of your work where it asks for a Title.
In the Summary box, include a link to the items in the Presentation View of your portfolio in the Summary field, along with an explanation of how they fit with the theme.
Remember, the work you want us to judge must be in your IdeasTap portfolio.
Then hit “Submit”. Job done.
One final thing – please make sure you have a photo on your profile page. It doesn't need to be a headshot and you won't be judged on the quality of this picture – as with all the briefs on the site you have to have a profile picture to be eligible.
