We’re turning off the air conditioning in the IdeasTap office and getting our winter coats out of the wardrobe. The weather’s on the turn and the nights are starting to draw in, so this month, we’re challenging you to respond to the theme of:

NOCTURNAL

From animals creeping around your garden to capturing a city in the wee hours, we’re looking for beautiful work that expresses a fascination with the night and all that that encompasses. As ever, this is multi-disciplinary, so feel free to submit everything from an animation to photography or a short story.

The person who submits the best piece of work will win £300 and become part of our IdeasTap alumni. Two runners up will also win £100 each.

The work can be in any discipline you like, but it must relate to the theme. Work is limited to:

Audio and video - no longer than two minutes

Text - no longer than 1,000 words

Images/photos - no more than two
