Description
This is the brief for Animation. Apply for the Fiction brief here and the Documentary brief here.
Are you an animator aged 16-25? Would you like one of your short films to be considered for inclusion in the 6th Future Film Festival, in February 2013?
We’re inviting IdeasTap animators to submit their work to the Future Film Festival, the British Film Institute's annual film festival for young people, held at the BFI Southbank in London. IdeasTap will host a special screening for the five winning animation short films at the festival, alongside a masterclass Q&A with an industry expert and judge.
Selected animations may also be given additional screenings at the BFI Southbank during the festival – and you could even be nominated for a Future Film Award.
If successful, you and a guest will be invited to attend the Future Film Awards at BFI Southbank, and you’ll be allocated a limited number of tickets for screenings of your film for contributors, family and friends.
Your animation must be 10 minutes or under in length, have been produced in the last two years and be an interesting and original concept, combined with good production values and an entertaining subject matter.
For details of how to apply, click on the How to respond tab above.
Good luck!
This brief closes on Friday 16 November at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16 to 25 on the closing date. If you have any technical queries, visit the help centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
