Spun Glass Theatre want to open up our multimedia theatre production, 'The Lovers' to audiences across the country; to involve real people in the discussion of LGBTQ representation onstage, and in our production, and to invite them to share their stories.

We will hold two free symposium events at The Blue Man Cafe in Brighton, featuring a panel of representatives from charities and the arts, including Lunch Positive and Mind Out in Brighton. Snippets of our work-in-progress will be performed, followed by informal discussions.

By opening up the rehearsal process in this way, and by live streaming the symposiums through our YouTube channel
(Spun Glass Theatre), we hope to engage audiences across the country in the discussion of these issues. Audiences can join in at home by asking questions/sharing opinions on Facebook and Twitter using #loversplay.
