We're looking for young interested people to join the team or bring their creativity to the platform!

performing arts

- a 3day summer festival aimed at 18-25 year olds, which primarily comprises music, film, theatre, comedy, and talks, but which embraces any creative output by young people which we the organisers think would be appropriate. We are currently accepting submissions and applications, as well as speaking to some higher profile artists about involvement.

- probably in a promising location in Oxfordshire, but should this fall through we are looking at several other options.

- Attendance of between 300 and 500 people, which should be easily attained with the help of a powerful online presence (twitter, facebook, official website designed by Helen Bantock, and tumblr) as well as word of mouth and promotion by various contacts, and a potential for advertising depending on financial ability.

A key theme for us in the curating of this event will be the creative process - the emphasis on youth means we wish to explore specifically the origins and growth of artistic development. All artists will be invited to introduce whatever they bring to the table with either a written piece/interview in the festival program or a brief speech about their motivation, inspiration and influence. We hope to create an environment where people feel inspired. The model is more Secret Garden Party or Wilderness than say Reading.
