What do people think you do in your job and what is it you actually do?

People that don't know me may think that my job is getting dressed up and serving tea! In actual fact I play a role in everything from baking, to the PR, to the accounts to ordering, to finally getting dressed up and serving high tea.

Guide us through how you got into your current profession.

Hard graft. I have always loved a certain vintage style - see www.angeladoree.co.uk - and through this and trying different avenues I have finally found something that I love and pays the bills!

Would you describe yourself as creative?

My job is a highly creative one.  But I am never happy unless I'm making something with my hands, be it baking or making bunting.

What are your future plans and dreams?

My future dream is to own the world's first fantasy bakery which blows people away.  I have it online, but hopefully in the next year or so I will have one in real life!

What advice would you give to young people trying to break into the industry?

Always follow your dream, listen to your gut feelings and don't expect anything to be easy. If business was easy everyone would be doing it.
