Snuff Box Theatre

Snuff Box Theatre is a new company of performers hailing from the Acting and Contemporary Theatre Course at East 15 Acting School.

We thrive on versatility and creating new work from a blank page. Working with multi skilled actors, there is a strong sense of ensemble inside the Snuff Box.

Our debut show, The Observatory premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011, receiving much praise for its treatment of the Afghanistan conflict.

In 2012, Snuff Box is taking Bitch Boxer, written by Charlotte Josephine, to Underbelly at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

In 2013, we will be presenting devised show The Altitude Brothers.

To date, Snuff Box Theatre has won an award for each of our three shows, including:

NSDF & IdeasTap Emerging Artists Edinburgh Fund (The Observatory)

Old Vic New Voices Edinburgh Season (awarded to Charlotte Josephine for Bitch Boxer)

IdeasTap Innovators Fund (The Altitude Brothers)

Whether large scale or intimate, political or fantastical, we have one singular aim: to tell good stories on stage.
