Into The Trap

A new collaborative theatre collective based in London.

Into the Trap is the brainchild of two Bryonys. Having met through university at King’s College London and having been friends for some years, we finally decided to get our arses into gear to form and create a theatre company. The venture began when we proposed Alfred Jarry’s ‘Ubu Roi’ to the English Society at King’s. The English Society have given us financial backing to support our creative vision and for this we are hugely thankful. Yet, through this collaboration with our university, we hope to grow, transform and expand out of our university setting, creating a theatre company that encompasses our mutual interest and excitement for performance primarily but also a company that is dedicated to exploring and informing performance through the very processes of performance. At the heart of Into the Trap, we are interested in exploring the trappings of the ‘final product’ through exposing the process that got us there.
