Arguably one of the most exciting events in the theatrical calendar, The 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices is back! The project is now open for applications through IdeasTap and we’re thrilled to announce that the application age range has been extended to 18-30 this year.
OVNV are on the lookout for six producers, six directors, six writers and 20 actors to write and stage a play at the world famous Old Vic Theatre this autumn.

What are you looking for in actors and their monologues?
I think they're looking for Actors to work alongside the directors to showcase their work. If I remember right the 24 Hour plays are all about expressing creativity and showcasing the best fresh talent has to offer.
What are you looking for in writers? Thanks x
Do you tend to go for known experienced actors or do you like to see fresh faces?
How many writers go through to the next round after the application round? And will you want to read any more previous work from these writers? Or will your final selection be based on how writers perform in the audition round?
