Hi I'm sure you'll be swamped with applications, but if you have a minute can I find out whether the age deadline on the Feb round will be that you have to be 30 or under by Feb or will it stay as the Sept date. I have a feeling I know the answer but have my finger crossed...

I'm 29 and will turn 30 in early January and would hope to be able to reapply in the second round if need be without suddenly being deemed too old! Cheers!

Thanks for your comment. It goes without saying that there are hugely creative and talented people of all ages. It’s not our intention to exclude anyone but the Futures Fund - and IdeasTap in general - has been set up with a specific goal: to help young, emerging creatives.
The purpose of restricting the age bracket on most briefs is to insure that the opportunities go to these younger members rather than to more experienced members. There are competitions without age restrictions to encourage our older members to use the site as this creates a richer, more diverse community but our goal remains to support the younger practitioners.
