• He is such a brilliant actor who doesn't shy away from what he thinks. To drama school or not to drama school has always been a tricky one for me...His last statement has definitely put things into perspective and given me something to think about.

• There's a lot of truth behind his statement that you have no tangible memory of being on stage due to adrenaline. I'm trying to get into the habit of filming my performances otherwise I just forget what it felt like. Case in point: I have absolutely no recollection of performing at Chichester Festival Theatre for the first time. I remember being backstage, I remember watching the other performances (as it was part of the NT Connections programme), but I don't remember being on the stage at all!
