I'm currently based in Scotland but, as I have no ties, I always make it clear I am willing to relocate for a project. I have probably spend around 5 days all in travelling to auditions in the last couple of months. This is because none of them seem to be coming up near where I live... I love Scotland. I spend a few days at the Fringe this Summer and I do think it is a wonderful, infuriating, inspiring, hotch potch of talent and culture. But I seem to be drawn to moving down south to maximise my career opportunities. I used to think it was a stupid idea. Every actor heads off to make their name in the big city but I think I will have to try it for a few months to at least get it out of my system... unless I manage to fall into the job of a lifetime.
