Great to see Co-operatives being promoted; I was a member of one of the most successful Co-Operative Agencies outside of London for 5 years. It was an invaluable experience; Throughout the 5 years my role adapted and changed- you get a great opportunity to try your hand at loads of vital skills! I was in charge of Social Media, Marketing (online and print), New Applications and then finally Chairperson. In my opinion, a Co-op is only ever as good as it's membership; you need thorough communication, organisation and a proactive approach. It's also a great family to be part of, lots of people to support you if you are ever in doubt of your career.
