A good read, just wanted to point out a couple of errors I spotted though:
"build you brand" - should be "build your brand"
"Check your spelling (especially the name of who your emailing)" - should be "the name of who you're emailing"

86861f49-7ff0-4c1c-8891-a42f0128217eI dunno. Usually you (meaning I) can let spelling errors slide - just not when the very sentence containing the error begins with the words "Check your spelling". And there are more in the article beyond those Lauren already pointed out. It doesn't make the advice any less relevant, but it is a distraction for some of us.
