I think it is more terrifying if it is immersive theater as that way you feel more involved but i have yet to see a scary piece. But i may now see if i can create a truly horrifying piece. @GemmMcD

9e5724c7-556f-4056-9b27-a0fd012892d1I believe that theatre can be much more terrifying. Myself and a group of fellow actors recently devised a piece to do with loss of innoncene. You can very easily play upon all senses with immersive theatre and so terrorise an audience completely, some audience members ran out the performance during the piece.
