Television execs all around the globe are probably devising a strategy to milk some money out the mass migration to internet entertainment and communication. It is economically devastating, but for students it's the best thing ever. Every time they put up another barrier, some tech geek out there will figure out a way around it.
It will suck in the future when we're trying to get paid by the very people we're trying to cheat right now. But, meh.
I love twitter! It's so diplomatic. And it's a terrific vehicle for marketing products, shows, celebrities. And websites like Funny or Die provide opportunities for people without connections to find success based on their own merit.
By the way, I'm going to follow you on Twitter, Nell! It seems like you'll have a some witty, interesting things to say.
