Really like the article and the idea and will be checking out Firecracker. When I am doing my work with humanitarian photography I am often documenting the lives of women and am sometimes having to talk about sensitive issues such as rape or FGM with them. These women often say they are glad they are talking to a woman. This is not to say men cannot do a great job of being really sensitive in those situations (most humanitarian photographers are men so they have to be) but there is certainly a place for greater female representation in many genres of photography.Thanks for the article!
